Villages are community-based, nonprofit, grassroots organizations formed by caring neighbors who want to change the aging paradigm. A group of individuals in South Hadley have begun talking about how they can stay in their homes as they grow older, when some things may get harder for them to do themselves.
Local Villages connect members to a wide array of practical support services, social connections, and learning opportunities that enable older adults to enjoy a rich, independent and healthy quality of life when they choose to age in their homes and communities.
Villages build a sense of community and offer resources, services, programs and activities, including social and educational programs, health and wellness activities and volunteer assistance with transportation, light home maintenance, and technology coaching.
Your confidential responses to this survey will help The South Hadley Village Steering Committee learn more about the needs of seniors in South Hadley. Thank you for taking the time to participate!
