Nomination papers for the South Hadley Annual Town Election to be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, will be available in the Town Clerk’s office beginning Monday, January 9, 2023, for the following elected positions:

Two (2) Selectboard Members for terms of 3 years

One (1) School Committee Member for term of 1 year

Two (2) School Committee Members for terms of 3 years

One (1) Board of Assessors Member for term of 3 years

Two (2) Board of Health Members for terms of 3 years

Three (3) Library Trustees for terms of 3 years

One (1) Municipal Light Board Member for term of 3 years

Two (2) Planning Board Members for terms of 3 years

Eight (8) Town Meeting Members for Precincts A, B, C, D, and E for terms of 3 years

One (1) Precinct B Town Meeting Member for term of 1 year

One (1) Precinct C Town Meeting Member for term of 2 years

One (1) Precinct E Town Meeting Member for term of 1 year

Those seeking office must be registered to vote in South Hadley to run for town office. 

All nomination papers with the required number of signatures (50 for town wide offices, 10 for town meeting members) need to be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
