[ARCHIVED] Municipal phones, servers to be down Oct. 17-18 for scheduled upgrades

Phones down

SOUTH HADLEY - Residents will have limited access to municipal services and staff in all buildings (senior center, town hall, library, etc) by phone, voicemail and email Monday, Oct. 17 through Tuesday, Oct. 18 as upgrades to the town’s 10-year-old virtual infrastructure are installed.

The police department phones will not be affected. Public internet will not be available at the library during this time.

Staff in all buildings will be available in person to answer questions and accept payment during regular hours of operation. Payments will be processed once the data-center is reconnected, likely by Wednesday.

  • The Senior Center is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • South Hadley Public Library is open 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
