Nomination papers to fill the remainder of a Selectboard seat in the November 8 special town election are available in the Town Clerk’s office.
The empty seat's term ends in April 2023 following the April town election. All voters registered to vote in South Hadley are eligible to run for town office.
Nomination papers must be signed by at least 50 registered South Hadley voters. Candidates are advised to collect more than 50 signatures to ensure the requisite number of certified signatures.
The deadline to file nomination papers at the town clerk’s office is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20.
