With extremely high temperatures forecasted for this week in South Hadley, it will be important to stay cool.
The South Hadley Public Library, located at 2 Canal Street, and the Council on Aging, located at 45 Dayton Street, are both designated cooling shelters for those who need to seek relief from the heat.
Taking a splash through the town's spray parks are a fun way for the whole family to beat the heat. Spray parks are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Beachgrounds Park and Buttery Brook Park.
