The South Hadley fireworks will be held July 2 at the Michael E. Smith Middle School at 100 Mosier Street.
A rain date is Tuesday, July 5.
People are encouraged to bring a blanket and/or chairs and plenty of bug spray! Alcohol and tobacco products are not allowed as the event takes place on school grounds.
Parking:
Please observe all parking notices throughout town. You may have a bit of walk, as parking near the Middle School is limited. Parking is available at the Mosier School (open until 7 p.m. or when lot becomes full), St. Theresa’s Church (open until 7 p.m.), Gorse Lot - 27 Morgan St. (MHC), Morgan at College St Lot/Lawn (MHC). Parking is also available at Veryl's Automotive for a fee that is donated to charity. Parking at the Middle School is for handicapped parking and event staff/police/fire ONLY.
Please note there is no parking allowed on Routes 116, 202 and 33 per State Law. No parking on the following streets: Mosier, Morgan, Brainerd, Pine, Parkview, W. Parkview, Richview, and Belmont. No parking in prohibited zones, private property (without permission), within 20 feet of an intersection, within five feet of a driveway, on a tree belt, bicycle lane, sidewalk, and crosswalk. Violators subject to parking tickets and/or tow.
