Pioneer Valley naturalist and former South Hadley Conservation Administrator (2004 to 2017) Janice Stone will be honored during South Hadley's Arbor Day ceremony on April 29. A Tulip Tree will be planted in honor of Janice by the students of science teacher Maria Drobiak.
The public is invited to attend the event, which begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Hahn/Warner Arboretum at the back of the MESMS field.
Inclement weather will move the ceremony indoors to the MESMS library.
