Volunteer opportunities are available on South Hadley boards and committees. Consider serving South Hadley by joining one!

The Selectboard is seeking citizens with diverse interests and abilities to apply for these available positions. There are no special requirements for any of the boards and committees other than a willingness to serve. However, applicants must be registered to vote in the Town of South Hadley.

Boards and committees with expiring terms and/or vacancies needing filling include:

  1. Appropriations Committee
  2. Bike Walk Committee
  3. Bylaw Review Committee
  4. Canal Park Committee
  5. Commission on Disabilities
  6. Conservation Commission
  7. Council on Aging Board
  8. Historical Commission
  9. Historic District Study Committee
  10. Trustees of the Old Firehouse Museum
  11. Zoning Board of Appeals

Those wishing to apply to serve on a board or committee must do so online. See the full list of vacancies and term expirations here. Once you’ve determined the board or committee with a vacancy or expiration on which you’re interested in serving, apply here. Applicants will be contacted with instructions for how to attend a virtual interview process once that has been established.
