[ARCHIVED] PACE Team hosts forum on Massachusetts police reform within SHPD

PACE Forum

Join the South Hadley Police Access and Community Engagement Team (P.A.C.E) to discuss implementation of Massachusetts police reform virtually on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Last December, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker signed into law an act relative to justice, equity, and accountability in law enforcement in the commonwealth, Chapter 253 of the Acts of 2020, commonly referred to as police reform.

In this October virtual forum, South Hadley Chief of Police Jennifer Gundersen and members of the PACE Team will discuss provisions of the legislation and how it is being implemented within the South Hadley Police Department.

Rev. Lori J. Souder, of First Congregational Church UCC of South Hadley, will moderate the forum.

South Hadley community members are invited to participate. Register to attend here.  For those who can’t attend but would like to still participate, drop a question or suggestion to the PACE team here. SHCTV15 will record the event for future playback.

For any questions about the forum, email Gundersen here.
