[ARCHIVED] Be prepared for potential flooding

MEMA flooding

With heavy rain forecasted overnight, residents should be aware of the potential for flooding in low lying areas, including properties close to streams, in the next 48 hours.

Residents should take reasonable precautions and stay away from areas which have historically had high water issues. The South Hadley police, DPW, fire districts and the emergency management director will prepare for and monitor the situation.

If you have an emergency please do not hesitate to call 911 immediately.
