South Hadley continues to implement online permitting and licensing using Viewpermit. This is a comprehensive online tracking system that simplifies the application, payment using a credit card or Paypal account (processing fee applies), approval, sign-off and issuing of many types of permits and licenses. You can monitor the processing of your application by logging into your account but will also receive email notifications. You can schedule any required inspections online and once you have an account, any renewable licenses, such as dog licenses, can be renewed without re-entering your information.
While the ability to use Viewpemit has been available to the public for the last year on select permits and licenses, this announcement is being made now because we are excited to finally be able to accept many Building permit applications. This includes attaching of files, such as a Worker's Comp affidavit, or photos or plans/drawing. And, online applications will receive priority processing. Easier for you, easier for us!
