What began as a conversation five years ago about town-wide library services has grown into a formal, grant-funding project to explore a unified library system for the Town of South Hadley. Now, Library Trustees from the Gaylord Memorial Library and South Hadley Public Library will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 14 at 6:30pm to present the progress made and goals mutually upon by both libraries. This meeting will be an opportunity for further conversation about the long-term sustainability of both libraries in the community and what steps need to be taken to ensure that South Hadley maintains high quality library services.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, October 14 at the South Hadley Public Library starting at 6:30pm and light refreshments will be served. Following a presentation from library representatives, the public will be invited to share their ideas and expectations for future library services in the community. All are welcome. For more information, contact South Hadley Public Library Director Joseph Rodio at 538-5045 or Gaylord Memorial Library Director Criss Quigley at 538-5047.
