Fiscal Year 2020 trash bills were mailed to residents on Aug. 23. The bill was due Oct. 1. The absolute, final day to apply for a trash abatement is Oct. 15. There are NO exceptions.
Please note that trash bills must be paid in order to obtain a new recycling/compost center sticker. These stickers, good through Oct. 1, 2020, are available from the Treasurer/Collector’s Office in town hall, at the DPW office at 10 Industrial Drive, or by mail. Need a sticker application? As the town's contract with Republic Services ends in 2020, the Selectboard is exploring other methods of trash collection and removal through a town staff internal trash team. Read on the Selectboard page about basic South Hadley trash facts, global industry issues, and three scenarios considered for implementation, here.
