[ARCHIVED] South Hadley upgrades online permitting system to ViewPoint Cloud

A cloud logo with the text 'ViewPoint Cloud' inside of it

SOUTH HADLEY - On July 1, the Town of South Hadley upgraded ViewPermit, its online permitting system, to ViewPoint Cloud (VPC).

VPC is a more modern, user-friendly version of ViewPermit. It is used to submit applications for various certificates, licenses and permits to town departments. Once approved online, these can be printed by residents from home. Users can view the status of their permits in real time and access applicant-to-reviewer messaging through the centralized online system.

For any residents who used the former ViewPermit system, you will need to create a new account in ViewPoint Cloud. If you already have a VPC account that you use in a different town, you can use that account to access your South Hadley permits and licenses.

Register for your new account here: https://southhadleyma.viewpointcloud.com/

If you had a ViewPermit account, you should use the same email address when you set up your VPC account.

If you’ve been issued a permit that you don't see in your account, you can search for it by permit number.

Online permitting is available for:

  • Public Health permits, including food, pools, tobacco, and animal keeping
  • Building permits, including residential and commercial
  • Selectboard permits, including alcohol, secondhand, and annual automatic amusement and entertainment licenses
  • Town Clerk permits, including tag sales, business certificates, and dog licenses

Should users have any questions, please reach out to IT Coordinator James Doolittle by email at JDoolittle@southhadleyma.gov or 413-538-5017 ext 124.
