This is to ensure a more enjoyable trek as there are several trails worth exploring and a deep snowfall may make it more difficult to easily traverse them.
The approximately 90-minute trek is approximately 2 miles in length. The marked dirt and leaf-lined trails (and we anticipate that snow will still be present on March 26th) are rutted in places from vehicular use, may be muddy or wet, and are relatively flat with several mild-moderate ascents and descents.
On Sunday, March 26th, meet at 12:45 pm at the dirt parking lot at the end of Bartlett Street. To reach, take Rt. 202/Granby Rd. NORTH, turn right on to East Street (Easthampton Savings Bank is across the street on the left), drive to the end of East Street and then take a left on Bartlett to the parking lot). Wear weather-appropriate clothing and safe footwear, and bring water and optional snacks. Non-enjoyable or hazardous inclement weather/conditions will force a cancellation. Post-trek, please join BWC members in the parking lot for light refreshments and socializing!
