South Hadley Town Clerk Carlene C. Hamlin has announced that nomination papers will be available for any registered voter wishing to be on the ballot for the April 11, 2017 Town Election beginning January 3, 2017. The deadline to return nomination papers is Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
The following offices will appear on the ballot:
Town Moderator - one year term.
Selectboard -2 positions - three year terms.
School Committee – 2 positions - three year terms.
Board of Assessor -1 position - three year term.
Board of Health - 1 position - three year term.
Municipal Light Board -1 position- three year term.
Planning Board - 1 position – three year term.
Trustee for Free Public Library - 3 positions - three year terms
Trustee for Free Public Library - 1 position - two year term.
Town Meeting Member - Precinct A, B, C, D & E – 8 positions each precinct – 3 year term.
Town Meeting Member - Precinct B - 1 position – 1 year term.
Town Meeting Member - Precinct E - 1 position – 1 year term.
