Who is "The Wildlife Team of the Northeast"? We are a dedicated team of wildlife ecologists, educators, and conservation practitioners based in the northeastern U.S. We are united by our passion for protecting wildlife and the natural world around us. At the heart of our mission is education and engagement. We offer free, accessible information about the wildlife of the Northeast and provide guidance on simple actions anyone can take to support the amazing and diverse animals living in their communities. The challenges facing wildlife today—climate change, habitat loss, and the impacts of roads, among others—can feel overwhelming. However, there is hope! Together, we can make a difference through small, collective actions that ensure the incredible wildlife of the Northeast thrives for future generations.
