Over 4,500 ballots have been mailed to registered voters who applied to vote by mail for the November 5, 2024 State/Presidential Election.
If you are interested in voting by mail for the State Election, you have until 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 to apply. Click here for information on applying to vote by mail.
In-person early voting will begin on Saturday, October 19, 2024, and run until Friday, November 1, 2024 (excluding Sundays). All in-person early voting will be in the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall (116 Main St., South Hadley, MA). A full schedule is posted at www.southhadley.org/elections.

Once you have completed your ballot, please seal it in the "Early Ballot Envelope" yellowish/brownish envelope and sign where indicated before returning your mail-in ballot. If the envelope is not signed, the Town Clerk's office must reject it and mail you a new ballot.
There are several options for returning your completed ballot. You may return your ballot by:
- Mailing it back using the envelope provided
- Hand-delivering your ballot to our office located at 116 Main St.
- Using South Hadley's ballot drop box located at 41 Bridge Street, behind the police station
- Dropping your ballot off at at the Clerk's office during early voting hours.
