[ARCHIVED] TOSH presents Symposium of Understanding: Diversity & Inclusion in South Hadley

SOUTH HADLEY – The public is invited to a Dec. 8 webinar focused on diversity and inclusion in South Hadley.

Held under the Symposium of Understanding initiative as its own series, the webinar will feature Dr. Lauren Appio of Appio Psychological Consulting, PLLC. She presents regularly on cultural competence and professional development and has co-authored articles in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, Law and Human Behavior, and Journal of Counseling and Development.

The webinar, set for 6 p.m., aims to give the public a better understanding of their own biases and teach how acceptance is critical for the dynamics of a community. It will also share how the South Hadley municipality is committed to furthering staff understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion through various trainings.
