Mission Statement
The South Hadley Emergency Management Department has two primary missions. The first is to work with other town agencies, state and federal organizations to develop emergency preparedness and response plans. These plans support South Hadley's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from widespread emergency situations which can threaten both life and property.
Our second mission is to work with our citizens, both individually and in various groups to educate people to the nature of the natural and manmade threats we face and the ways we can prepare ourselves to survive potential disaster situations.
